Community Support Worker 

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate/Salary: £9.93 per hour / £19354 per annum

As part of your role as Community Support Worker, your duties will include:

  • Enable the people we support with complex learning disabilities, and/or an autism spectrum condition, to lead an independent life.
  • Providing high-quality person-centred care, tailored to the needs of each individual, based on their lifestyle.

To be considered for the role of Community Support Worker, you will need to:

  • Possess good communication, and organisational skills.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of Autism, and or learning difficulties  through person experience or work experience
  • Hold a full UK driving licence is preferable but not essential
  • Be able to work flexibly across varying shifts, including weekends on a rota basis
  • Be able to engage, listen and communicate in a variety of ways and demonstrate emotional resilience.
  • Support with elements of daily and independent care routines such as personal care, housekeeping, cooking, and cleaning, and accessing community-based services.
