Job Title: Registered Home Manager (Learning Disability and Challenging Behaviours)

Hourly Rate: £15.00 - £20.00 Per Hour D.O.E

Contract: Permanent, based on 40 hours per week

Location: Southwell, Nottinghamshire

Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm (on call every other week)

Commute: Due to rural location, must be a Driver!

About the Role:

Cohesion Activate are proud to be supporting the Recruitment of a lovley independent Learning Disability Care Home for adults who present with learning disabilities, significantly challenging behaviours, acquired brain injury and similar complex needs. The home is currently registered for 6 service users.

The ethos of the Company is to provide high quality care to service users in a safe environment that is also conducive to learning. The aim is to ensure that service users can enjoy a life that is as independent as possible and that their individual rights to privacy and dignity are respected.

About You:

The successful candidate will have 'proven experience' in a similar role as a Registered Home Manager and must also have a proven track record with the CQC. A solid background in managing a LD service is essential.

Candidates who are also looking to take their next step up in their career to Deputy Home Manager are also urged to apply.

The home currently has a “GOOD” CQC rating in all areas, and the owners are looking for this to be maintained.

Essential skills and attributes are:

· NVQ In Leadership & Management Level 4/5

· Experience in running a similar home (min 2-3 years)

· Outstanding team leadership skills

· An excellent knowledge of CQC compliance requirements

· Good relationships with local care professionals

· Marketing skills

· Financial awareness/ Budget Management

· Rota Management

· Excellent Microsoft Office experience

· MCA/ DoLS experience
