Nugent - Child Care Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at The Willows responsible for providing outstanding care to the children and young people we support at our children’s residential home in Formby. This role is on a 24-hour rota, and you will be required to work nights and days. The shifts are as follows: 07:15-15:15, 14:30-22:45, 22:00-07:30.

Responsibilities:

• To provide support to our children ensuring daily tasks are completed including helping prepare them for the day

• To ensure the home is kept clean and in a tidy condition, encouraging the young people to participate as appropriate.

• To contribute to the educational and social development of each young person.

• To complete and maintain written records.

About you:

• Experience in a childcare setting (desirable)

• Passion to help nurture young people

• Be able to work shift patterns including waking nights
