The Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Bartender to provide high quality beverage services and occasional food services with a focus on the social clubs and events.

  • As a Lead Bartender you will take ownership for the planning and delivery of all Beverage Services at an operational level and to personally operate the Members Social Club or events bars as agreed.
  • To take responsibility for quality and standards in Beverage services.
  • To plan activities appropriately, resolve issues in a timely manner and develop supportive and co-operative relationships with beneficiaries, colleagues, visitors and suppliers.
  • To apply Morden College standards in terms of cash handling, to ensure appropriate floats, to reconcile daily/weekly/monthly business and to make timely and accurate deposits.
  • To ensure that staffing levels are appropriate, and that work-rotas are developed and published.

About you

  • Good verbal and written communication skills with a good command of the English language.
  • Able to deliver high standards of customer service.

  • Able to work unsupervised.
