Salary:  £46,211 - £48,412 per annum (£22.72 - £23.81 per hour)

Contract:  Fixed Term Contract - Initially for 12 months

About Stella & Harry Freedman House:

Step into the warm embrace of Stella and Harry Freedman House, a residence spanning three floors, each boasting 40 inviting bedrooms. Tailored to cater to the distinct needs of every resident, each floor is overseen by dedicated Care Managers and staff teams.

Individual living and dining spaces on each floor foster a sense of community unique to that level, residents can also explore additional amenities, including a café, a convenient shop, outdoor spaces, and the Sam Beckman Centre, designed for those living with dementia.

About the role:

As a Clinical Care Manager you will:

  • Ensure person-centred care by fostering relationships with residents, families, and the community, while maintaining compliance with legislation and policies.
  • Support independence by understanding residents' needs and limitations, actively participating in care planning.
  • Lead and facilitate culturally sensitive activities, reflecting residents' Jewish identity and cultural needs.
  • Manage and motivate a dedicated team, promoting excellent person-centred care and meaningful relationships.
  • Supervise and support the residential care worker team through reflective practice, performance reviews, and effective communication.
  • Oversee the unit's management, including rota, medication, end-of-life care, and communication with families.
  • Conduct audits to ensure adherence to Jewish Care standards and policies, meeting CQC requirements.
  • Act as a deputy for the registered manager in their absence.
