FULL AND PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE

  • As a valuable member of our team, a Receptionist/Administrator will be assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including taking notes, organising meetings and other such activities.
  • Receptionists/Administrators meet and greet visitors in a warm and friendly manner, presenting a polished professional image and to offer refreshments if they are waiting in the reception area.
  • As a Receptionist/Administrator, you will be answering the company phone lines professionally and directing them to the relevant department/person and taking messages when unavailable.
  • Being a Receptionist/Administrator involves maintaining a neat and tidy reception area, replenishing marketing material, clearing any clutter to present a professional, comfortable and presentable atmosphere.
  • A Receptionist/Administrator will need to ensure all information is treated confidentially and to always have absolute discretion, complying with GDPR and DATA protection.
  • An important duty of a Receptionist/Administrator is to provide administrative and general support to the lead administrator and care home manager.

About you

  • Ability to communicate effectively – written and verbally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages including outlook, excel and word.
  • Can do attitude and willingness to help.
  • Strong and proven ability to multi-task and prioritise.
  • The ability to relate to people from a wide range of backgrounds.
  • Respectful approach to residents and relatives.
  • Ability to work using your own initiative and within a team.
  • Reliability and flexibility.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Friendly and approachable.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role.
  • An understanding of the health and social care industry would be desirable.
