Job Title: Female Complex Healthcare Assistant
Location: Littlehampton, Sussex.  
Pay Rate: £15.20 per hour
Hours: Zero Hour Contract (Complex Care Package) – 12-hour Day Shifts (8.30am- 8.30pm - could consider 6 hour shifts) (Ideal working days Thursday, Saturday & Sunday- flexibility required - can consider alternate weekend working)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Complex Care Assistant to support an independent-minded mature lady with epilepsy and complex health needs who thrives on engaging activities that spark creativity and fun!  Your role will focus on encouraging her independence while providing essential care in a warm, fun and engaging environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3 months of experience in complex care
  • Experience with epilepsy and rescue medication
  • Strong communication skills and a nurturing approach
  • A passion for person-centred care and making a difference

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide personal care and assist with daily routines
  • Manage epilepsy care, including emergency support
  • Support safe eating and drinking (puréed diet)
  • Assist with mobility (walking frame, wheelchair)
  • Promote engagement through social activities and gentle exercise
  • Follow a behaviour management plan using encouragement and distraction
