Job Title: Female Complex Healthcare Assistant
Location: Battle, Sussex (Driver Preferred due to location)
Pay Rate: £15.20 per hour
Hours: Zero Hour Contract (Complex Care Package) – Day Shifts (1:00pm – 8:00pm Tuesdays and 8:00am – 6:00pm Fridays - flexibility required)

We are looking for a compassionate and interactive Complex Care Assistant to support a wonderful young girl with complex needs. Despite her challenges, she is a bright, curious, and engaging individual with a vibrant personality. She shares a strong connection with her family, cherishing the time spent together and participating in various family activities. This young girl is a truly special individual who flourishes in a nurturing and supportive environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3 months of experience in complex care
• Ability to engage in play and therapy-based activities, including assisting with mobility support
• Strong communication skills and a nurturing approach
• Reliable and committed; consistency with caregivers is important
• A passion for person-centred care and making a difference

What you’ll do:

• Administer and manage enteral feeding (NG tube care).
• Provide respiratory support and assist with breathing needs.
• Engage in physiotherapy exercises and active play to promote mobility.
• Support with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
• Work with the family to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
• Manage care for a client with chromosomal abnormalities and developmental delays.
• Assist with hearing aid use and support communication for severe hearing impairment.
• Handle secretions and respond to symptoms of respiratory infections, following emergency protocols.
• Engage the client in play and therapy-based activities to support development.
