Job Role: Respite Service Manager
Hours: Full Time – 37.5hrs
Shift Patterns: Typically Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (with the expectation to cover shifts outside of these times as required)
Pay Rate: £17.63 per hour
Location: St. Joseph's, Blundell Avenue, Freshfield, Formby, Liverpool, L37 1PH

What We’re Looking For:
To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

  • A compassionate, caring nature and a genuine passion for making a difference in people’s lives
  • Experience working with adults/children with learning disabilities, in a management role.
  • Level 5 QCF in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in partnership with a range of agencies, health and care professionals, service users and families/ carers.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (please note, we cannot offer sponsorship or work visas)

About the Role:
As Respite Service Manager, you will be leading a dedicated team, supporting residents with learning disabilities and complex health needs. Your role will include:

  • Leading a team of Senior Support Workers and Support Workers to deliver exceptional care that prioritises the safety, dignity, and personal needs of our residents
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and support while maintaining the highest standards of care
  • Conducting regular supervisions and appraisals to help your team develop professionally
  • Being responsible for the co-ordination, assessment, planning, delivery and review of service user care and support by all staff
  • Ensuring clear, accurate records are kept and care is continuously monitored and reviewed
  • Building strong relationships with families, health professionals, and the wider community to enhance residents’ well-being
