Job Role: Female Senior Support Worker  
Pay Rate:  £12.46 -£12.64 per hour 
Location:  Liverpool Adult Services, Everton, L5
Hours: Full Time - 37.5 per hour

Shifts: Core Hours between 8am-10pm (Split Shifts available) Sleep in Shifts are a requirement for this role ( approx 10pm-8am)

About the role:

  • You will be expected to respond appropriately to medical and health concerns and lead the team of support workers to encourage independence and help people within the service live their lives to the full in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures.
  • You will deputise for the Team Leader of the service in their absence, always upholding the companies’ policies, quality procedures and governing body guidelines whilst mentoring all our staff teams to do the same. The Service supports individuals with learning disabilities and health needs, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

About you:

  • Experience within a similar environment is essential (1 year minimum in a care environment)
  • NVQ Level 2 and willingness to work towards Level 3 is essential.
  • Have a high standard of both written and spoken communication
  • Hold a good understanding of Word, Excel, Outlook

About the service:

Liverpool Adult Services currently has 9 properties across Liverpool which consist of different types of accommodation, including shared houses with own bedrooms and communal spaces and single accommodation flats with own facilities in shared building. We currently provide 24-hour support with trained and experienced staff and have the capacity to support 41 people across the Liverpool locations.
