What We’re Looking For:
To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

  • A compassionate, caring nature and a genuine passion for making a difference in people’s lives
  • A minimum of 5 years experience working with people with learning disabilities, and complex needs
  • Level 3 QCF in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of current policy and practice issues in social care and support, including tenancy related support
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (please note, we cannot offer sponsorship or work visas)

About the Role:
As Deputy Service Manager, you will be leading a dedicated team, supporting residents with learning disabilities and complex health needs. Your role will include:

  • Ensure the service supports individual needs, promotes life and social skills, and maintains a homely environment.
  • Collect required information and ensure Care Plans and Person-Centred Plans are implemented, monitored, and regularly reviewed.
  • Support the Service Manager in recruiting, inducting, supervising, and managing staff in line with service standards and policies.
  • Monitor staff performance to meet service standards, identifying and addressing training and development needs as required.
  • Assist the Service Manager with strategic and financial management, ensuring operations stay within budget and accurate financial records are maintained..

About St. Anne’s Apartments:

St Anne’s Apartments is an extra care supported living service that provides care and support to adults with a learning disability and mental health needs. This service provides care and support in a ‘supported living’ setting to 13 individuals ranging in age between 21-80+ to live as independently as possible. The service is staffed 24 hours and has the governing ethos of a service that is flexible, a home for life whilst supporting people to be autonomous and independent.

About Marina:

Marina Residential Care Service has offered personalised, person-centred care for individuals since 1994.  Located in a central location with easy access to local amenities and transport links, Marina creates a safe, fun, and supportive environment where residents can develop social and life skills to gain greater independence. Marina's guiding principle is that "our residents do not live in our workplace; we work in their home."

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) rated both services "Good”, reflecting the service's commitment to quality care and person-centred support.
