Job Title: Day Care Assistant 

Contracted Hours:  Bank Mon-Fri 

Salary/Pay Rate: £10.07 per hour

Location: Wallington, Surrey

If the answer is yes, look no further. We have a vacancy for a Day Care Assistant at our Wallington Day Care service on a part-time basis. We are looking for a committed person to provide a high standard of practical support to encourage service users to maintain their independence to enable them to lead a full and active life. 

Applicants must have a caring attitude, be able to care for service users without direct supervision and be sensitive to the needs of older people.

What are the duties?

• Enhancing the lives of our clients every day.
• To contribute to the co-ordination and provision of meaningful activities as part of the team for service users according to their needs and preferences.
• Assisting with personal care and supporting with additional needs.
• Maintain service users’ independence, autonomy and choice; promoting dignity, and confidentiality at all times, in order to enable them to lead a full and active life.
• Providing emotional support for our service users and service user’s family members.

What skills do I need?

Ideally you will have prior day care experience. We also require you to be passionate about supporting our service users. We’ll provide you all the outstanding training and tools that you need; all we ask is a willingness to learn and a genuine enthusiasm to encourage others to live their lives to the full.
