Cullum Welch Court is part of Morden College a Charity dedicated to supporting older people. The home combines residential living with 24-hour expert care and support for individuals with complex health conditions, dementia, or palliative care needs.

The Role

You will feel like part of the Morden College family when you join us as a Bank Care Leader at Cullum Welch Court. As a Bank Care Leader you will work alongside the Registered Nurse to administer medication and controlled drugs. You will be responsible for the induction and supervision of staff.

  • Managing Diaries
  • Contacting GP’s
  • Ordering Medications
  • Observations and supervisions
  • Writing care plans and assessments
  • Managing the rota

Leadership

You will be yourself, have a sense of fun and take ownership of all aspects of your role, whilst being a positive role model for others and an ambassador for Morden College.

  • As a Bank Care Leader, you will be visible with a leadership style that encourages positivity, is person centred and responsive to the needs of residents.
  • You will develop a programme of activity that is tailored and meaningful that focuses on maximising wellbeing, independence, social engagement and stimulates the highest quality of life and enjoyment.
  • You will be responsible for creating and effectively maintaining clear and accurate care records including care plans and assessments.
