Support Worker - Holly Lodge
Location: Holly Lodge, Tonbridge, TN11 9LT - Rural setting – Drivers Essential (Manual Preferred)
Salary: £12.21 per hour + £1,200 complexity payment (where applicable)
Hours: Full-time (39 hours) & Part-time (Minimum 15 hours, fully flexible)
Shift Patterns:
- 7:00 AM / 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM / 10:30 PM
- Mid Shifts: 8:30 AM – 8:30 PM / 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Every other weekend or two weekends per month required

Who we're looking for in our next Support Worker:
- Experience working in a team and physically active roles (Must be able to swim, ride bikes, and walk long distances)
- Understanding of autism, communication challenges, and behaviour triggers
- Awareness of MCA (Mental Capacity Act) & DoLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards)
- Basic knowledge of health and nutrition
- Aligned with our Avenues core values
Your Role as a Support Worker:
- Implement PBS plans to provide effective support
- Assist with personal care, health, and nutrition
- Plan and participate in daily community outings and activities
- Help individuals maintain their baseline and manage behaviours of concern
- Provide full support for medical appointments and work closely with healthcare professionals
- Promote independence while ensuring tailored support
