Pay Rate: £14 per hour

Hours: 7:30am – 7:30pm or split shifts 7:30am - 1:30pm / 1:30pm – 7:30pm

About Walton Manor:

Step into the welcoming world of Walton Manor! A serene and luxurious haven for elderly care nestled in Walton, Wakefield. Our home, designed for peace and comfort, accommodates up to 47 residents. We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of those we care for, supported by exceptional staff in a beautifully maintained setting. Walton Manor, a Grade II listed manor house, is surrounded by mature gardens and offers a library and hairdressing salon, stunning gardens and a large sunroom/conservatory, community-focused lounges and dining areas!

About the role:

As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll be part of a dedicated team providing quality care and support - this pivotal role involves:

  • Assisting residents in their daily living tasks, including personal care, medication and mealtimes.
  • Supporting daily activities to enhance well-being, promote choice, foster independence, and uphold dignity.
  • Offering encouragement and companionship by actively engaging with residents.
  • Leading of handover sessions and shift management.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the care team.
  • Liasing with other health professionals and families.

About you:

In order to be considered as a Senior Care Assistant with us, you will need:

  • To embody our values of teamwork, care, integrity, and respect.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • A kind and caring nature with a passion for enriching lives.
  • At least 1 years’ experience within a care environment.
  • Level 2 in Health and Social Care and willingness to complete your Level 3.
